Reflection from reading

Today before my bath I decided to squeeze in some reading from a great book received from a great friend- The Secret Letters of the Monk ho Sold His Ferrari. I haven’t gotten very far but it is definitely a great read so far. There is this sentence that really took an impression on me and I decided to record it down before i forget ” Life itself is a journey after all, and what matters most is not what you are getting, but who you are becoming.”
This quote really stood out to me because its something that we often neglect, that is, the things we need in life after being stripped of all the standards society has created should essentially be basic things like water, food, family, love and a home and beyond that what we should be aiming for isn’t what we can receive but what we can give back to others and the kind of person we are shaping ourselves into. REMEMBER THAT HSUAN! 🙂
